What is it like to live in México, D.F.? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's totally great to hang out to certain areas of the city during weekends.

What is the student lifestyle like in México, D.F.?

It's quite of a madness due to all the neverending traffic that the city has. However, the best schools in the entire country are located here.

How much does it cost to live in México, D.F.?

It depends on certain factors. First of all, food and groceries are really cheap. Approximately you can get a full sized meal for just 3-5 us dollars. In the other hand, renting a flat or just a room could be quite expensive. There are specific spots in the city that properties may be even valued in us dollars. This is very expensive for the average mexican wage.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in México, D.F.? Is there any advice you can give?

No I don't think so. As mexico city is one of the world's largest cities, offers are never the problem. The thing is to find the right property with a fair price.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Awesome!!! No matter where you from, you should definitely try all of the exquisite cuisine that mexico has to offer. Mexican gastronomy is ranked within the top five in the world. There are lots of different dishes that share some common ingredients such as beans, corn, some kind of meat/cheese and obviously, a hit of spice. Almost 99% of the dishes are meant to be eaten with "salsa" or hot chilis. You should try it as well, but have precaution.

What places would you recommend visiting in México, D.F.?

The area if Polanco, colonia Roma, Xochimilco and the nearby places at la Marquesa in the state of mexico

Is it good to eat out in México, D.F.? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes it's amazing. There are restaurants all over the place.
The most popular sports in Mexico are soccer, football and baseball. Personally, my favorite sport is formula 1. Hopefully we have our home grand prix hosted every year at the Foro Sol here in the city

Is the nightlife good in México, D.F.? Where is good to go?

It is actually very nice. However, take precautions where to go. You wouldn't like to end at the wrong neighborhood late at night. The best places are in Polanco , la condesa and la Roma.

What advice would you give future students heading to México, D.F.?

Before deciding whether you want to study here, take into consideration traffic. It's a big trouble, but you get use to it after a while l. Secondly, security. It's a safe city regarding violence. By this I mean shootings, murders, etc. But citizens are considerably exposed to delinquency. Therefore, you should be careful.
