What is it like to live in México, D.F.? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

First of all, it is a HUGE city. It is so big that there's no human way to know it completely. At the end you will spend your time only in one part of it, so you have to be careful about that desition. So, as it goes, I lived in the City's South, close to the UNAM. I really enjoy my time over there: it is not so expensive, there's always something to do, from cultural events, theatre, cinema to parties, clubs and bars.

What is the student lifestyle like in México, D.F.?

Again, it depends completely of the area of the city. It is easier to find stuff to enjoy in the Center or in the South.

How much does it cost to live in México, D.F.?

You can rent a room form 200 euros, and an apartment from 500. Transportation is quite cheap as well.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in México, D.F.? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not the easiest thing, but if you are eager to pay a little extra you should not have any problem. I think the best shot is share an appartment with locals, that way you don't have to worry about bills and that stuff.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is very good, but as a foreigner you have to be careful. Really careful.
