I just wanted to learn English.

My scholarship was for a year and I got around 3000 euros.

What is the student lifestyle like in Maynooth?

It's one of the best I have ever seen. Basically, it's a small town made for students.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Maynooth to other students?

Yes, I would.

What is the food like?

There is any type of food: fast food, Spanish food, Italian, Irish...

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Maynooth?

It was a bit difficult because I didn't get the accommodation in the campus so I needed to look for something else.

How much does it cost to live in Maynooth?

I would say around 700 euros per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The language courses at college are good. I joined one and I learned a lot.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Maynooth from your city?

By plane and by bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Maynooth?

The Roost.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Maynooth?

I didn't go out for dinner/lunch much.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Dublin city can be the main one.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Maynooth in the future?

Just enjoy, it was one of the best years of my life.
