What is it like to live in Lyon? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
It's a marvellous, very beautiful city. The city has very good architecture. There's a lot to do there!
What is the student lifestyle in Lyon?
The student life there is good. The universities, the professors, the students and the teaching are all great.
How much does it cost to live in Lyon?
I don't know exactly. It's an expensive city, but you can get by.
Was it difficult to find accommodation in Lyon? Do you have any advice?
There are some really nice neighbourhoods for students in the city centre: Lyon 8 or La Guilliotière.
What is the food like there? What are some of your favourite dishes?
The food is very good and very well-known. It's the gastronomic capital of France. I liked "la praline", "les quenelles", "la cervelle de canut", "les tripes" and lots of other things!
Where would you recommend to visit in Lyon?
I'd recommend visiting: La basilique de fourvières, the streets during the festival on the 8th of December, the museums, the Confluence neighbourhood, the neighbourhood and the shopping centre at Part-Dieu, the Tête d'Or park, "les quais" (quayside), the old neighbourhood called "Vieux Lyon", the Bellecour square, Rue de la Republique, the "Croix-Rousse" neighbourhood and others.
And to eat in Lyon? What are some of your favourite places to go?
There's the chef Paul Bocuse for food, there are the typical restaurants, called "les bouchons lyonnais", which are in the old neighbourhood and there's a lot of restaurants on a street called "la rue merciere".
Where would you recommend for a night out in Lyon?
The riverbanks, on the boats. The pubs in Vieux Lyon.
