Would you recommend the city and the University of Lyon to other students?
I would deffinetely reccomend the city, but not the university. I have a business background, while Lyon 1 specializes in biology/science. If you are studying science this university is the best one for you, but for other studies the level is not very high.
What is the food like?
French food is awesome.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lyon?
No. The university provides you with a place at one of its residences.
How much does it cost to live in Lyon?
Rent (residence) - 267 EU/month
Food - 200 EU /month
Transport (you can buy a public transport pass that works only in Lyon, and travel unlimited in the city) - 31 EU /month
Parties - 100 -150 EU /month
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lyon?
Monday - Ayers Rock (1 beer=1 EU)
