Why did you chose to go to Lyon, France?

Because I had the choice between here, Paris and La Roche l'Île so I chose Lyon because it's the second biggest city and it's very well-connected in Europe so I would have the opportunity to travel all over. Additionally, it's a very pretty city with lots of culture.

How long is your stay? What amount of help do you receive?

One year. And I receive the APL of 92 euros every month but it took 5 months before I was paid because the process was very complicated.

What is the student atmosphere like in Lyon?

Good.

Would you recommend the city and the university of Lyon to other students?

Yes.

Have you had any trouble finding accommodation in Lyon?

It was a little complicated but I had people here to help me so I found an apartment in a few weeks.

What is the cost of living in Lyon?

A little expensive. The beer is super expensive so it's a little hard to go out. But there are lots of things to do that are free.

How is the language learning? Have you been to language classes organised by the university?

Not bad at university, plus I live with French people so I speak with them and it's not my first time in France.

And what cultural visits do you recommend?

Fourvière and Parc de la Tête D'or

Any advice for future students in Lyon?

It's good to live on the Metro D line. It's the fastest and most-often.
