What is it like to live in Lyon? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

There are many students. The city living, there are a lot of events and many parties. And this is a beautiful city. Not too big, but beautiful. And you are not so far from the mountains.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lyon?

Depends of your studies of course, but there are a lot of student parties.

How much does it cost to live in Lyon?

It is pretty expensive. For a little studio 400-550 €, depending where it is. With a flatmate maybe 350-500€, but I am not sure about that. And obviously as everywhere you have some better occasions if you search very well.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lyon? Is there any advice you can give?

Not so difficult, because there are many agencies.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food from Lyon is in the "Bouchons", it's a kind of label for restaurant with meals from Lyon (mostly meals with meat, but some others things also).

What places would you recommend visiting in Lyon?

• La Place Bellecour,
• Le Vieux Lyon,
• Le Vieux théatre romain,
• Le Parc de la Tête d'Or.

Is it good to eat out in Lyon? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

You can't always go out to eat, it is too expensive. But there is a lot of kinds of restaurants and mostly there are good.

Is the nightlife good in Lyon? Where is good to go?

"Le Sucre" is one of the best club but it is expensive. If you like commercial music you can go to "L'Ayers Boat" or "Le Boston". "Le Petit Salon" is pretty good for trance and techno party less expensive.
