What is it like to live in Lyon? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I love living in Lyon and I recommend it. It's a big city (but not too big you won't be lost) well connected where we can find everything for each expectancy in the downtown.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lyon?

Lyon is a very good city for students.

How much does it cost to live in Lyon?

A bit expensive, but less expensive than Paris for example.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lyon? Is there any advice you can give?

Yes, it depends, the advice I can give is to go to a residency.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The best gastronomy is here! My favourite dishes in Lyon are the "saucisson" and the "quenelles".

What places would you recommend visiting in Lyon?

I would recommend going and visiting:

• The "Musée des Beaux Arts",
• The neighbourhood of "Vieux Lyon",
• "Confluences",
• "Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière​",
• And walk along the "Rhone" and the "Saone".

Is it good to eat out in Lyon? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, I don't really have a favourite spot I go everywhere.

Is the nightlife good in Lyon? Where is good to go?

The nightlife is good in Lyon but only on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays night. I recommend going to "Le Sucre" for electro/techno music, or to "Ayers Rocks Boat" for every kind of music. Or just in bars in the downtown.

What advice would you give future students heading to Lyon?

Take the opportunity to come to Lyon, you'll be happy!
