Why did you choose to go to Lyon, France?

I've always wanted to come to France, so I decided to utilize this opportunity to do my Masters in Lyon. I also want to improve my French which was another major factor that I considerd.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lyon?

It's generally good. As long as you try and make friends and attend social activities, you'll enjoy it.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lyon to other students?

Yes

What is the food like?

Still getting used to it but the few I tried are good.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lyon?

yes. I had to pay a deposit of 350 euros and some other fees before I moved in.

How much does it cost to live in Lyon?

around 400 to 600 euros per month, depending on your budget.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yea, language courses are available in almost all the universities. But the easiest way to get grips with the language is to make French speaking friends.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Vieux Lyon. It's always a good experience to visit the old part of the city with lots of cultural sites.
