Why did you choose to go to Lyon, France?
I wanted to learn French in a big city, but not one as expensive as Paris.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
Around 9 months. I got around €120 from Spain and another €150 from the French government.
What is the student lifestyle like in Lyon?
It's great, a lot of activities are organised for Erasmus students! There are a lot of students and people on Erasmus from all over the world.
Would you recommend the city and the university of Lyon to other students?
Of course. Lyon doesn't disappoint.
What is the food like there?
Too good. Nobody is losing weight here.
Was it difficult to find accommodation in Lyon?
It wasn't very difficult.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the university?
The university teaches classes in English, so you won't have any problems with that, but French is a whole other issue...
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lyon from your home city?
By plane with Easyjet.
Where would you recommend for a night out in Lyon?
There are loads to choose from!
