Why did you choose to go to Lyon, France?

Well to be true, for student exchange and is the only place in France for my school.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

There is no scholarship offered by the school. One month roughly 650 Euros including rental, electricity, meal and transport.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lyon?

Definitely relaxed and fun compare with my own country.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lyon to other students?

Yea, that is for sure. The second best city I have lived in so far.

What is the food like?

No specific, but Croix Rousse market is superb.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lyon?

Yes, spend around a week in a hotel just to find a room.

How much does it cost to live in Lyon?

Except rental for room, 200 Euros can manage the whole month for a student.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yea, the language is a little bit difficult here. French or French most of the time, few people can communicate properly in English. But try to adapt, it is good. Learning a new foreign language.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lyon from your city?

Aeroplane, as I am from Malaysia.

No specific, but Vieux Lyon is a good choice.
