Why did you choose to go to Lyon, France?

I choose to go there because it's a great city with a lot of things to do.
I love hanging out with my friends in bars and Lyonis perfect for that. There is a lot of students.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lyon?

It depends. Everybody is different. But to me, for my experience, it's cooooool ! Nobody judge, you can do or wear whatever you like.
You can do a lot of things, theater, concert, party....

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lyon to other students?

Of course !
Lyon is not too big and not too small, it's perfect !

What is the food like?

You can find what you want in Lyon, fast food, sandwiches good restaurant, and of course typical restaurant like "Les bouchons Lyonnnais".

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lyon?

Yes, it's not expansive as Paris but it's kind of a big city so... of course it's not cheap.

How much does it cost to live in Lyon?

Cost less than Paris. But the life is not cheap.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I dont know that.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lyon from your city?

I use the train because it's easy but the most economical is of course "blablacar" it's an application for carpool

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lyon?

I recommend "Hotel de Ville" you can find good bars.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lyon?

Of course if u have a big budget you can go to "Paul Bocuse" it's starred restaurant.
But I suggest you to buy the book "Le petit paumé". In there you could find all the restaurant and the places you should go.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Basilique de Fourvière
Cathédrale St jean
Place Bellecour
L'Opéra
Place des Jacobins

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lyon in the future?

Come, you'll not be disappointed !
