It was perfect for me, there are a lot of students, the parties start around 21:00/22:00, so you can make the most of the following day, which is great, and there are parties every day.

What is the food like there?

Lyon, a gastronomic capital, French cooking, need I say more? The food is really good. It's a shame coming here on Erasmus and to not be able to enjoy the food as much as you'd want to.

Was it difficult to find accommodation in Lyon?

I moved into a flat with a French girl I already knew, but the experience of people I know is that they had to go to Lyon 10 days early to look for a place when you're there, or you can stay in a residence for the first few months and then move into a flat. I'd recommend living in a flat, it's more affordable and the much better option.

How much does it cost to live in Lyon?

It's an expensive city, €400 is a enough for your monthly expenses (not including accommodation).

The most affordable way to get there from Spain in flying from Barcelona or Madrid with Easyjet directly to Lyon, and taking a train into the city of Lyon (it's definitely very expensive).
