Why did you choose to go to Lund, Sweden?

My main reason was that Sweden is socially a very accepting place

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

1 year, and approximately £3,000

What is the student lifestyle like in Lund?

It's nice, very student run but not extremely lively

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lund to other students?

Yes

What is the food like?

Nice, a large selection but it can be pricey

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lund?

Yes

How much does it cost to live in Lund?

It can be quite expensive, it depends what you get

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Everyone speaks English, but grasping some Swedish is not too hard, speaking it is

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lund from your city?

Bus, its not too expensive but I mainly use a bike because its cheaper

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lund?

There are only student run night clubs, if I wanted a proper club I would go to Malmö

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lund?

Not really, I don't go out to eat as its expensive. Max Burger is a good fast food place though

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The cathedral

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lund in the future?

Be prepared for it to be hard to find accommodation. Don't get lazy as you could be left with nothing
