Ljubljana is the capital and the largest city in Slovenia but in comparison to other european capital cities is still small. It has a great old town with some historical sights. The charm of its smallness is that everything is at hand. Ljuljana is also known for its public green spaces.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ljubljana?

Ljubljana has the oldest and largest University in Slovenia. It is renowned for its quality social and natural sciences and technical study programmes. The University of Ljubljana is listed amongst the top 500 universities in the world.

There are lots of student housing and accommodations so that students can easily find something that meets their demands.

How much does it cost to live in Ljubljana?

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Ljubljana offers lots of restaurants with traditional dishes and also some with foreign cuisine (Asian, Balkan, Mexican, Mediterranean... ).

It is also known for "Open kitchen" which is on Fridays from mid-March to October on the Ljubljana central market.
