Ljubljana is a very beautiful city. The city center is quite small and very historical. Above the city is a castle that ofers great view of the city. You can find a lot of restaurants, bars and small shops near the Ljubljanica river that flows through the city.
What is the student lifestyle like in Ljubljana?
In Ljubljana you can find a lot of accommodations for students. Almost every restaurant or bakery offer big discounts in food for students. If you enjoy a good party you will find one every day.
How much does it cost to live in Ljubljana?
That depends on your lifestyle, but in general it is not that expensive.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Ljubljana? Is there any advice you can give?
Finding accommodation for students in Ljubljana is very easy. If you search on the Internet and Facebook, you will find something in just a few minutes.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
The food is good. You can find any tipe of cuisine you like: from high class restaurants to fast food. But if you look at traditional dishes they are influenced by Italian, Austrian, German, mediteranian and Hungarian cuisine.
What places would you recommend visiting in Ljubljana?
You must visit the Ljubljana castle, Nebotičnik skyscraper, Tromostovje (triple bridg), Dragon bridge, Prešeren square, Tivoli park, Saint Michael church and the city centre in general.
Is it good to eat out in Ljubljana? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Yes, it's good to eat out in Ljubljana. Especially because students get this cupons for food. You can spend 2 per day and get your food in most of the restaurants or bakeries for free or up to 5 euros.
Is the nightlife good in Ljubljana? Where is good to go?
It's great. You can go to Cirkus, Top six, Metelkova, Jet and Parlament.
What advice would you give future students heading to Ljubljana?
Travel as much as you can because Slovenia is very beautiful.
