What is it like to live in Ljubljana? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
I liked it, even though there's a lot of snow in November and it gets very cold.
What is the student lifestyle in Ljubljana?
I think it's very good. There are a lot of parties, cultural event, concerts.
How much does it cost to live in? Ljubljana
Well, around €350-400 a month.
Was it difficult to find accommodation in Ljubljana? Do you have any advice?
Ljubljana has cheap rooms for students (€100 a month). There are also a lot of private apartments, but they're more expensive (€180 a month).
Where would you recommend to visit in Ljubljana?
Prešernov trg, Grad Ljubljana, Ljubljansko močvirje, Rožnik, park Tivoli...
What is the food like there? What are some of your favourite dishes?
Students get a študentski bon, which makes these very good restaurants very cheap: Študentska menza, Emonska klet, Slast, Al Capone... a lunch costs €1 to €3. 50.
Where would you recommend for a night out in Ljubljana?
Companeros, KMŠ, Cvetličarna, Cirkus, Pr'skelet...
Do you have any advice for students coming to Ljubljana in the future?
Ljubljana is a very small city, although that can be a good thing, because you have everything you need very close by.
