Ljubljana is a very beautiful city, with a lot of green areas and nice architecture. The river Ljubljanica running through the center makes everything even more romantic.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ljubljana?

It's very affordable and dynamic. Students can eat cheap and good meals all over Ljubljana. Besides, they have also a lot of activities (sporting, cultural, etc) during the whole week and for a lot of those, they have also different discounts.

How much does it cost to live in Ljubljana?

If you are living in a student dorm, you spend around 250-300€/month.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Ljubljana? Is there any advice you can give?

It is great because an Erasmus student can live in a student dorm (all students in one place) and very affordable (ca. 80-100€/month).

What is the food like? What are your favorite dishes?

Very good, there are a lot of different restaurants in the city. I like pizza, sushi,and oriental food.

What places would you recommend visiting in Ljubljana?

Tivoli, Rožnik, the castle, Koseški bajer, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Metelkova, Kino Šiška, Prule and Trnovo next to the river Ljubjanica, the city center...

Is it good to eat out in Ljubljana? Can you tell us your favorite spots?

It's good. Skuhna, Moi Sushi, Parma, Mirje, Marjetica, Gostilna Pod Gradom.

Is the nightlife good in Ljubljana? Where is good to go?

It is nice. Metelkova, Kino Šiška.

What advice would you give future students heading to Ljubljana?

Enjoy the city and go to as many places and events as possible.
