Why did you choose to go to Ljubljana, Slovenia?

I already was in Ljubljana before. I feel in love with the city and made really good friendships. So, that was a reason good enough to come again...

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I will spend one semester in Ljubljana. My program (Erasmus -Basileus) for Balkans only. I have 1000 euros per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ljubljana?

Cool. If you are on an exchange program, then even better. Like a student you have nice offers for meals all around the city, tickets for cinema and theatre are cheaper if you are a student. I have the feeling that Ljubljana is student city, so it can't be bad in any case. There are a lot of crazy students from all over the world in Ljubljana, so every day is a new movie scene :)

Would you recommend the city and the University of Ljubljana to other students?

Yes. Faculty of Arts, department of ethnology and cultural anthropology is quite good.

What is the food like?

Njami.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Ljubljana?

No.. I mean, I had my friends here, so I stayed at their place until I found my flat. There are some good web pages that can help you to find a nice flat quite fast.

How much does it cost to live in Ljubljana?

200-300 - for the flat, and 200-300 for the food and nightlife, but more money is like paradise! All together 600 euros or less, I don't know..it depends on how money do you get per month.. if 400 than is ok if 600 you can relax if more than 600 you can afford yourself to travel around.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, for me it was easy. I am from Serbia.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Ljubljana from your city?

Train, but there is no big difference in the price of the ticket between bus and train, so I recommend bus deffinitely.

Ljubljana- Belgrade, return ticket 60 euros.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Ljubljana?

Metelkova.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Ljubljana in the future?

Walk around, be alone, be in the company, ask, smile, be curious... Ljubljana is a beautiful place to be in, even during the wintertime it's amazing.
