Why did you choose to go to Ljubljana, Slovenia?

I am a very curious person. Slovenia and the eastern-south of Europe is a part I never visited before. Also I think that Slovenia offers the best combination between low prices (for a person living in Luxembourg), the amazing nature, parties and travel possibilities. Also, the offered courses in Law Faculty for Erasmus students were very interesting on the website as for example US Bankruptcy Law, Introduction to Amercian Legal System and to American Legal Writing.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The Erasmus scholarship from Luxembourg is 450 euros per month (for 30 days). 75% is sent on the beggining of Erasmus and the rest is calculated and sent at the end.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ljubljana?

Many travels and parties.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Ljubljana to other students?

Definitely yes.

What is the food like?

The food is really good and cheap for students thanks to boni system, which is a Subsidized Student Meals system.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Ljubljana?

No.

How much does it cost to live in Ljubljana?

In student dormitories it is around 120-215 euros.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

For me it's a little bit easy as I am Czech. There are language courses avaible at the University.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Ljubljana from your city?

By bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Ljubljana?

Have a drink near the river in the city center.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Ljubljana?

Mexican restaurants are good.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Natural sites definitely: bled & bohijn, triglav, etc.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Ljubljana in the future?

Prepare what to see in advance and enjoy you Erasmus.
