Why did you choose to go to Ljubljana, Slovenia?

I chose Ljubljana because there had been people from our school before us, so they told us a lot about it and it sounds great.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

We were there 1 month. Our school paid us flights and living.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Ljubljana?

Finding accommodation didn't cost anything. We went to live in dormitory, cause there had been people from our school before. We also check over the Internet places to live and that didn't cost either.

How much does it cost to live in Ljubljana?

Living in Ljubljana was cheaper than in Finland. Food was cheap and daily thing you use were too. Electronics and clothes weren't much cheaper.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Ljubljana?

In the city there are a lot of restaurants, and most of them are really good. There is also McDonalds, if you are afraid to try new things. For snack, you can buy from little places on the street burek, or pizza slices, and they cost around 2 euros.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

We went to Postojnska Jama Cave which is the best-known cave in the world (www.postojnska-jama.eu/). There is also a zoo in Ljubljana, which I recommend to visit.

Is there any other advice that you could give to future students who are going to Ljubljana?

If you like shopping, go to BTC shopping center, there are over 500 stores! (http://www.btc-city.com/). It's easy to go there with a bus.

And hey, don't laugh like we did when guy from pizzaplace asked if we want ketchup on our pizza, they really eat them with ketchup.

There goes bus and train to the Italy Venice if you like to visit there as well.
