Why did you choose to go to Ljubljana, Slovenia?

Because I had to do my internship in one of the Balkan states, so I chose Slovenia because Slovenia was the first member of EU of the Balkan states and I heard a lot of positive things about the people, culture and city Ljubljana.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I'm working 4 months in Ljubljana and I received app. €1, 300 from my scholarship.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ljubljana?

It's pretty nice. There are many attractions especially for students. Party everywhere.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Ljubljana to other students?

I would!

What is the food like?

Balkan food (Burek, Cevapicici, etc. ).

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Ljubljana?

Yes, I booked a flat on Airbnb.

How much does it cost to live in Ljubljana?

It is very expensive to live here. Especially if you are a student because everything is expensive, like in Austria for example.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The language is kind of difficult but if you can speak one of the Balkan languages, it's easier to learn the language.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Ljubljana from your city?

By bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Ljubljana?

Club Top Six, Pubs and Bars in the centre.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Ljubljana in the future?

If you are travelling, you should get a bus pass (a monthly ticket) and do not take the taxi because taxis are too expensive here.
