Why did you choose to go to Ljubljana, Slovenia?

I wanted to explore balcan culture and countries. Ljubljana seened to be well developed country and still seemed to keep its unique culture and environment.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

It lasts a half year and I receive 250 euros per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ljubljana?

In the evening, we used to go for beers, 2-3 a week parties... Also, people use bicycles, there are many opportunities to practice different type of sports, and many people are cooking at home, especially Slovenian.

Erasmus students used to go everyday almost for dinner to restaurant because students cupon let us buy full meal for very cheap.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Ljubljana to other students?

What is the food like?

Thanks students bons, you can try different type of food in many restaurans. Traditional slovenian food is also very tasty. Most of our friends, me as well we came back after erasmus much heavier.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Ljubljana?

No. I got a place in students dormitory.

How much does it cost to live in Ljubljana?

Food, parties and accomodation: about 250-300 euros per month, so about 8-10 euros a day.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Everybody almost speak english. Courses are avaliable but they are paid.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Ljubljana from your city?

I came to Ljubljana by my car with 2 other people from Poland. Very cheap.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Ljubljana?

Many parties, recommended by Erasmus student network.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Ljubljana?

Good chineese restaurants, good students cantine in students city and some restaurants around. Also, some places "all you can eat".
