Why did you choose to go to Ljubljana, Slovenia?

Because I liked the city and vibe.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

1 semester, I can cover my rent and I have to add a bit extra for party's, food and entertainment.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ljubljana?

It's very good, there is a lot of places in which you can go out and have fun.. also Slovenian people are friendly and open to conversation.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Ljubljana to other students?

I would.

What is the food like?

It depends on where are you eating, but they have amazing student bonus system... so you can eat in basically any restaurant in the centre with student discounts.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Ljubljana?

Yes, it was very hard for me to find accommodation because there was a lot of Erasmus students this year in Ljubljana. I would recommend to find accommodation in advance.

How much does it cost to live in Ljubljana?

500 euros... if you want to go for a field trip, go out... hang out...

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

My language is similar to Slovenian, but I think that the other Erasmus students listen their lectures in English.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Ljubljana from your city?

By bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Ljubljana?

K4, Circus, Cvetličarna, Metelkova and the most amazing pub in Ljubljana Catty's Shark Pub...

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Ljubljana?

It depends on where are you eating, but they have amazing student bonus system, so you can it in basically any restaurant in the centre with student discounts.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Bled, Bohinje.
