Why did you choose to go to Ljubljana, Slovenia?

I was on hollidays in Ljublajana 3 years before and felt in love in this are, then I decide 'I need to do everythinh to live there' and I used opportunities which gave me my university.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

4 months, 350 euro per month

What is the student lifestyle like in Ljubljana?

For Erazmus students were lots of parties, but I did't like it. But nightclubs are full in the nights, moreover Metelkova offers many attractions.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Ljubljana to other students?

Yes, on mine own responsibility ;)

What is the food like?

Very tasty and I ate burek almost every day, for vegetarians are lots of opportunities.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Ljubljana?

No, I've found be couchsurfing website

How much does it cost to live in Ljubljana?

My scholarship was enough for everything what I needed.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

For me Slovenian is hard to learn, even my language is in general similar. After 4 months I understood very well, but couldn't speak, just used simple sentenses in bakery and so on (Ali lahko dobim tisa kruh)

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Ljubljana from your city?

hitchhike or prevoz.org sometimes bus, but it expensive way

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Ljubljana?

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Ljubljana?

I'm vegeterian so usually I ate in Ajdovo Zrno and Govinda's, sometimes in restaurant behind Metelkova or falafel somewhere on Trubarjeva cesta

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Don't remember.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Ljubljana in the future?

Go in summer semester, Slovenia is a good start point further into Balkans or Italy.
