Why did you choose to go to Le Havre, France?

I wanted to learn French and it was the only option for France.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I had scholarship for only 6 months. I received 400 euros per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Le Havre?

The student lifestyle might be a little boring but if you enrole in clubs or doing sports, or travelling it should be ok.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Le Havre to other students?

If you like small and peaceful cities you should choose it. The University is a bit old, the teachers do not speak a perfect English but they are very kind.

What is the food like?

The food is good.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Le Havre?

No, the University suggested me to live in the campus and so I did.

How much does it cost to live in Le Havre?

Depends on the area, the campus, on what you like to eat, drink, go out.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are French classes to help you even if you are a begginer so no worries.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Le Havre from your city?

The most economical was by bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Le Havre?

My favourite place was Del Rio but there are many bars.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Le Havre?

My favourite was Le patio and La petite Auberge, but there are many so you can choose.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The sea side is amazing in every season, and the cities close to Le havre are spectacular, like Harfleur.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Le Havre in the future?

Hmmm... choose wisely your classes!
