What is it like to live in Lagos? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Lagos is a nice place to live in if you are up for the hassles of the city. Its a highly populated city with a very stressful terrain. It is a commercial city with a very rich culture, so I recommend it to anyone wanting to come to Nigeria.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lagos?

Students make up about 17 percent of the total population in lagos because it has two universities and numerous high schools.
There is a lot of partying due to the presence of club houses everywhere.

How much does it cost to live in Lagos?

Living in lagos is very affordable for the medium income earner.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lagos? Is there any advice you can give?

There is all sorts of accommodation readily available in Lagos.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The local dishes as super lovely but you'll have to prepare to eat dishes with a lot of chilli/pepper.
My favourite dish is rice and tomato sauce (called STEW) with chicken.

What places would you recommend visiting in Lagos?

There are a lot of club houses and cinemas. I'll recommend visiting the famous Bar Beach on the Island.

Is it good to eat out in Lagos? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Its supper fun to eat out in Lagos because you have all sorts of spots including road side canteens.
My favourite spot is Tasty Fried Chicken fast food.

Is the nightlife good in Lagos? Where is good to go?

This is the best part of staying in Lagos. Night life is world class top notch.
I like going to clubs on the Island.

What advice would you give future students heading to Lagos?

You'll have the best time of your life but you have to be prepared to get frustrated with the traffic jams due to the non availability of sufficient roads but that's about the only down side.
