Praia do Camilo

Praia do Camilo, or Camilo's beach in English, is another amazing beach in Algarve, Portugal south seaside. It is located in the city of Lagos and it is a must see if you're there (and even if you're not! put it in your bucket list and you wont regret it).

The beach has the typical Algarve's scenery: is surrounded by cliffs and rock formations. Also, if you walk through the rocks you will find a hidden beach there. A real paradise on earth! 

The only bad thing is that you need to climb a lot of steps to get in and out of the beach. But it mustn't stop you from going there! If you get tired from the stairs, just spend some time laying on the sand and floating in the calm and clear sea. 

Location

Praia do Camilo is right beside Praia da Dona Ana and Ponta da Piedade, other must see places in Algarve. You can get there by car, bus or even by foot if you don't mind walking a little bit - it's about 2,5km from city center.
