The edge of beauty
Ponta da Piedade is a cliff in Algarve, Portugal's south seaside. It is a natural monument made of cliffs and rock formations in the sea.
When you're there you fell like you're in the edge of the world, feeling the wind and admiring the stunning nature of the place. It's amazing!
You can walk all the way through the cliffs, that have over 20 meters high. Some boat visits also get you to hidden beaches inside the cliffs.
How and when to go
The place is also acessible by car or even by foot from the center of Lagos (if you enjoy walking). It is really close to Dona Ana's and Camilo's beaches.
The best time of the year to go is in September when it's not too crowded in tourists and it still summer.
