What is it like to live in Kuala Lumpur? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Life in Kuala Lumpur is nice in general. This city has got almost everything could a student need, such as cloths, drinks and the most thing is food, where you can find different types of food from all around the world. I would recommend this city to student but only for a short time period, cause the city after a while will become boring.

What is the student lifestyle like in Kuala Lumpur?

Student life in Kuala Lumpur is nice in a big city like Kuala Lumpur. It's right that there are not much interesting things to do in Kuala Lumpur, but it's a great place to meet up and make friends from different cultures where in this city there are students from almost all over the world.

How much does it cost to live in Kuala Lumpur?

A student may need around 2000 Ringets per month, which could be around 500 U.S Dollars, and that is including everything, food, hangouts, cloths, and accommodation.
Of course it varies from student to another but this is the average.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Kuala Lumpur? Is there any advice you can give?

Finding an accommodation in Kuala Lumpur is so easy, especially for students cause they can find rooms for sharing with other students, studios, or even a full apartment for a nice price but in the suburbs of KL

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food in KL is nice, and for a foreigner students they won't find any difficulties in finding their favourite food cause in this city there are restaurants serving food from all over the world, such as French restaurants, Arabic restaurants, Indian restaurants and others.

What places would you recommend visiting in Kuala Lumpur?

There are some interesting places to visit in KL such as the Twin Towers, KLCC shopping center, Batu cave, Menara KL, genting Highland and of course the water park which is called: Sunway lagoon.

Is it good to eat out in Kuala Lumpur? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It depends on the type of food, sometimes yes it's good and perfect to eat out and sometimes not. The best place to go and have some good food is whether the centre of Kuala Lumpur which is called Bukit Bintang, or Damansara, or Bangsar for westren restaurants

Is the nightlife good in Kuala Lumpur? Where is good to go?

The nightlife in KL, is quite exciting, there are lots of bars and nightclubs, especially in the heart of KL.

What advice would you give future students heading to Kuala Lumpur?

Kuala Lumpur is a nice city for students from all over the world, but what I would like to say is that do not stay in it for a long time period such as (two years or more) cause you will feel board.
Try not to carry your passport with you and keep it in a safe place, cause normally it's enough to carry s photo copy of it
