What is it like to live in Kuala Lumpur? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The culture between different Malay, Chinese, and Indian is unique and interesting. You can have different experience during each festival. The food is nice and cheap. There always have some delicious food just hidden inside small street or the corner which local people always go.

What is the student lifestyle like in Kuala Lumpur?

Basically, most of the school they will have the housing service for helpng student to contact the owner. If the university is really in the center of kuala lumpur, student can easily grab the food , there have some restaurant around, u can go by bus or walking.

How much does it cost to live in Kuala Lumpur?

if the houses or properties are located in the center of kuala lumpur, the rental will be much higher than those located a bit further from KL . OR u can live a little bit far, but u can go to city center by KTM (train),maybe 2 station to city center.( but u need to check the train timetable, sometimes it will be just 4 times per day passing through each station, and also there are not very on time)

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Kuala Lumpur? Is there any advice you can give?

it is not difficult to find accommodation. it is also depends on how much is your budget and which type of room or properties u prefer on. I will suggest maybe u can ask the school , most of them will give the housing service which help u to contact the owner. As I know, most of the student is sharing room together, because it is cheaper. Or maybe u can stay with your friend and his/her family ( which is Malaysian student ) Most of them will glad to rent a room for u ,and u can more understand how the Malaysian people's daily life is going on. I can confirm it will be a nice experience.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is nice in Malaysia, such as Nasi Lemak, Ais kacang ( is kind of dessert, is ice, and a lot of different kind of topping, i will kindly recommended this one), Roti canai, Wantonn (dumpling) noodles and so on. As u study in kuala lumpur, u can have a nice walk in Chinatown, u will find a lot of street food over there.Maybe is a good idea to go with your Malaysian friends, i am sure they will glad to be your tour guide.

What places would you recommend visiting in Kuala Lumpur?

Chinatown, KLCC ( twin towers), shopping mall.

Is it good to eat out in Kuala Lumpur? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

You can grab food easily in kuala lumpur. If u are very healthy person, i will recommended you cooking at home. My favourite sport is jogging ( actually i am not living in the very city center, so i can go to the park which take me around 10 mins driving) But no worry, there have the quite big park in the city center ( which having a nice trek for jogging , it is near the KLCC .)

What advice would you give future students heading to Kuala Lumpur?

Make some research about the culture, and also what can't be do in Malaysia( this is important) . Enjoy the study life in Malaysia. Maybe during semester break, u can have a short trip with your Malaysian friends to another town, like Pulau Pinang, or Malacca or having a nice sunbath on the beach.
