I was studying in Kuala Lumpur and now doing my internship here in the Petronas Twin Towers.

What is the student lifestyle like in Kuala Lumpur?
it is amazing. you get to explore new things and my lecturers are so helpful in my studies.they will always listen to you out about your problems with education or sometimes even personal issues
Would you recommend the city and the University of Kuala Lumpur to other students?
definitely
What is the food like?
this is my forte. im a foodie and i have literally tried all the good foods here. there are all kinds of food from sweet to spicy to savoury and etc. since we have three different races here the choices of food are also vast. my favourite is always some good chinese food like chinese chicken rice and indians naan with panneer butter masala. they are so good .
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Kuala Lumpur?
yes its pretty expensive for me. this is the most developed city compared to other places in malaysia .
How much does it cost to live in Kuala Lumpur?
RM700+ FOR ACCOMODATION ALONE IF YOU ARE RENTING A ROOM. it might be cheaper for your currency, so no worries.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
english.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Kuala Lumpur from your city?
train . we have lrt trains ,mrt trains and even buses. they are cheap and you can go all around kl just by using the public transports.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Kuala Lumpur?
BANGSAR. its definitely the night for youngsters with many bars and music and of course beers !you will have a good time every time you are in bangsar
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Kuala Lumpur?
there is so many from hawkers stalls , street foods to classy dinings. go to petaling street to try all the street foods or you can find street foods almost anywhere. indian foods go to brickfields or bangsar. Restaurant Nirwana Bangsar is famous for their banana leaf meals. chinese foods are plenty ,you can take a walk at the bukit bintang street at night for some good chinese foods.there is classy dinings too.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
batu caves for sure. a must visit temple.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Kuala Lumpur in the future?
Be bold and brave to ask the public if you dont the way, malaysians are friendly. have fun and eat all the good foods !!!!!
