What is it like to live in Kuala Lumpur? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Kuala Lumpur is big city, it full of cultures and people. It also rich with multi million foods and restaurants even for 24 hours. Its city where it never sleep. The city mix with multi level of people..rich, poor and standard. It is colorful and power of lighting around the city.
What is the student lifestyle like in Kuala Lumpur?
There a lot of accommodation which is very cheap and easy access like cheap transportation. You will have no trouble to find anything for study tools in Kuala Lumpur, and Kuala Lumpur got many University and College around the city and its very great University.
How much does it cost to live in Kuala Lumpur?
Its not expensive. To rent for room is around 30 - 80 euro.. full house is around 150 - 300 euro.. apartment maximum is around 250 euro..condominium up to 1200sqf 300 - 400 euro. Cheap food for sure around 2 - 3 euro.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Kuala Lumpur? Is there any advice you can give?
Not very difficult its easy to find a room and house around Kuala Lumpur with affordable price. You can use website mudah.com, ibilik.com, propertyguru.com, easyroom.com, and etc.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
In Kuala lUmpur because we are mixed culture..we have all type of food from all over the world. My favorite dishes is local food which is Malay food.
What places would you recommend visiting in Kuala Lumpur?
I would recommend you to Kampung Baru to get a local food, Western Food is everywhere in shopping mall. Chinese food can get at Petaling street.
Is it good to eat out in Kuala Lumpur? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
yes its good to eat outside because you can try anything and its cheap. Even 2 months here you will not finish to eat all local food.
Is the nightlife good in Kuala Lumpur? Where is good to go?
yes its great nightlife here.. there are also have pub in Bukit bintang, great garden at night. great restaurant everywhere.
What advice would you give future students heading to Kuala Lumpur?
I would recommended here because most of Malaysian can speak English very well, and its very efficient transport as well. Good infrastructure, cheap food and accommodation. It also balance in nature and city sight. High standard of education and nice people with nice greeting.
