How much does it cost to live in Krakow?

Life in Krakow costs "nothing" in terms of western European countries wages. Accommodation, food, parties and transport are really cheap.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Polish food is very heavy, but tasty. If you like pork, potatoes, cabbage and mushrooms, you'll find paradise here. I recommend trying different polish soups which are definitively a must, as well as pierogi and schabowy.

What places would you recommend visiting in Krakow?

The whole old city is worth visiting as well as the Kazimierz district

Is it good to eat out in Krakow? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

As restaurants are cheap(er), it is a good thing to go out for dinner from time to time there. You could have a meal in a very good restaurant for 15€/pers. I recommend restaurants around the market square (Rynek)
