What is it like to live in Krakow? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
I definetly recommend living in Cracow. I think that for young people it's great place to live. Cracow has energy which makes time passing by very quick. There's always something to do, also on Sundays. This place live 24/7, you can't get bored here.
What is the student lifestyle like in Krakow?
There's a lot of pubs, clubs, museums, art galleries. No matter what's your interestings you definetly find something to do. Cracow is the best place to studying in Poland. This city has the most places, events and attractions for students. Very often there's discounts for students.
How much does it cost to live in Krakow?
Single room is about 700zł, double about 500zł. Dinner in canteen cost about 10zł, in small restaurant about 20zł. For food shopping you can spend about 500-800zł for month. Cinema cost about 20zł, beer - 6zł, single bus ticker - 1,40zł, student's ticket for whole semester and all lines - 184zł.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Krakow? Is there any advice you can give?
It's not difficult.
What places would you recommend visiting in Krakow?
Walk along river, The main square of course, Pub - Hex where you can drink beer and play boardgames with friends, MOCAK, Manghha,
Is it good to eat out in Krakow? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
It's good sometimes, but if you want to eat out every day you will spend some money for it. Chimera and Koko are good places for it - not very expensive, bug meals and home cooking.
Is the nightlife good in Krakow? Where is good to go?
Cracow's nightlife is very good. Afera is a little worse club, but there's always a lot of people and good music. Frantic, Baccarat, Shine are more expensive clubs and more elegant. Studio and Karlik are typical student's clubs.
