What is it like to live in Krakow? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Krakow is one of the places that I love the most .It is lovely place to live becouse you have a lot of oportunities to do , from culture events, throught the scholary meeteng to parties . Boredom has never lived here ! Main Squere is magical place where you can feel like somebody who has just traveled in the time . Museums in Krakow are really well prepared. There are a lot of multimedia displays and huge amount of interesting exhibitions. Krakow also is friendly for foreigners, there are a lot of useful solutions, like some kinds of discounts, parties organised speccially for them .Service in hotels, restaurants,cinemas and in other public places can speak English and very often other in foreign language.

What is the student lifestyle like in Krakow?

There are a lot of students in Krakow and their lifestyle depends on their interests. If you like parties you will be really satisfied living in Krakow , if you like sport, you will find something for you, culture and art , in Krakow - no problem :)

How much does it cost to live in Krakow?

Actually it isn't cheap . But it isn't bad . Depends on preference .

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Krakow? Is there any advice you can give?

NO it isn't difficult , especially for foreigners, becouse there are a lot of programs and projects that help people to find a good accomodation , and there is a lot of websites where peeples plece their offers, for example www. gumtree.pl . Don't forget about facebook , where you find something for sure .

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Here in Krakow you will find every type of world cousine .However the best what I can recommend you is POLISH one :) Especially PIEROGI ( dumplngs ) with delicious stuffing . Also beer, soups, sweets, bakary hmmm everything POLISH COUSINE IS AWSOME!!!

What places would you recommend visiting in Krakow?

Firs of all Main Squere ( of course )
Secondly Wawel Castle , Schindler's factory ( museum ) and others museums .
Mounds ( especially that one of King Krak ) .
And every interesting cafes, bar restaurant where you find faboulus atmosphere .

Is it good to eat out in Krakow? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Honestly I don't like eating out becouse I love cooking, but I am sure that everbody find something . There are a lot of spots like ,, Krakowski Kumpir '', ,, Makaruun'', chineeses restaurants, and other one ( for example ,, Warsztat'' at Bożego Ciała 1 street, delicious food on delicious prices , oh and portions are HUUGE ) who offer food of varied qualitly .

Is the nightlife good in Krakow? Where is good to go?

Yes it is good , There are a lot of clubs . But I prefer to going out to bar ( great and cheap - PIJALNIA WODKI I PIWA, BANIALUKA etc. )or to place where you can listen to jazz ( for example Harris Piano Jazz Bar ) . Oh how I could forgot ! Kazimierz dostrict in Krakow is full of cimatics places !

What advice would you give future students heading to Krakow?

Sometimes people seems to be unfriendly but it is only afecctations . We love complaining about something, but at all we are really happy. It is our tipical feature, maybe strange a litlle but not bad .
If you are student headed to Krakow don't be afraid, take some warm clothes, raincoat and umbrella and nothing will suprise you .
