Experience in Kraków, Poland by Claudia
What is it like to live in Kraków? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
I have fallen in love with the city of Kraków. It's a pretty big city and has a lot of things to do in general, as well as a lot of history which you can learn about by going to the actual place. I'm from Mexico, so I'm used to the Latin American warmth, however the Polish are usually friendly and welcome you into their family, they'll do all they can to make you feel better. I wouldn't change it for any other city in Europe.
How much does it cost to live in Kraków?
It's a cheap city to live in!
Was it difficult for you to find accommodation in Kraków?
There are a lot of accommodation opportunities, be patient!
What is the food like there? What were some of your favourite dishes?
Wow! It is always so tasty and especially when you find out where to go, although, in general, they have the same dishes everywhere.
Do you have any advice for future students in Kraków?
Make the most of this opportunity! It's normal to feel down sometimes! Don't worry about it, nothing last forever! Distract yourself by going to places with lots of people, read and have fun!
That way you will have a lot to tell everyone when you go home at the end!
Good luck!
