What is it like to live in Krakow? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Hi all futur Erasmus!
Cracow is amazing city, full of cultural festivals. Is also the biggest student center in Poland so for sure living here is neverending story ;)

What is the student lifestyle like in Krakow?

We have students thursdays - the best parties in Cracow especially for students. Dont miss it!

How much does it cost to live in Krakow?

It;s not cheap... especially the apartments in City center, if you want to find something cheaper than 300 euro/bedroom I recommend to go live to further districts , especially Krowodrza is very good!

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Krakow? Is there any advice you can give?

Any accommodation is not difficult.. but of course cheap and in city center - is hard :D but like everywhere!
I was looking for flat with Agecy... it costs but you can be sure that noone is cheat on you!

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Delicious!
Our the most populat Cracow's dishes is 'Zapiekanka' - is kind of hot sandwich with cheese, mushrooms and whatever you want to in it!
The best are in Kazimierz - Jewish district in Cracow

What places would you recommend visiting in Krakow?

Mocak museum, oskar schindler fabric... what more in summer time for sure 'Zakrzówek' amazing place in our city!

Is it good to eat out in Krakow? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

for sure expensive :D But they are some student places like 'Koko' bar at Gołębia street. Amazing home made food in good price!

What advice would you give future students heading to Krakow?

Enjoy this city! Is totally magical!
