Why did you choose to go to Krakow, Poland?

I choose Krakow in Poland because it's first agreement between my university and Politechnika Krakowska university, secondly I knew it's a beautiful city, cheap, closed to the tatras mountains where I can go to do hiking and skiing, and it's I wanter to discover Poland, Polish population, culture and language.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My scholarship in Krakow is one semester ( 5month) and I received 800 € per month by several public institutions for the students, governement, region, european union.

What is the student lifestyle like in Krakow?

Lifestyle is to go in class, work at some according to your university and you volonty to work, drink cheap and good beers, shoots of vodka in bars, dance and drink in night clubs, eat traditional dishes in restaurant, visit the city, discuss and have fun with others international students.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Krakow to other students?

yes I recommend the city and the university of Krakow !

What is the food like?

A lot of restaurants and cheap. You can also buy everything in supermarket and cook by yourself. Specialy very typical polish dish.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Krakow?

No my polish mentor found for me.

How much does it cost to live in Krakow?

I pay 950 zloty per month to share a flat of 130 square meters with 4 others erasmus students. I have a big room but we don't have living room.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

English courses in my university only.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Krakow from your city?

From my city Grenoble the best way is to go Lyon airport and take easy jet flight to Krakow directly.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Krakow?

I don't know yet a very good night club.

The best thing to find good restaurant is to go on trip advisor website.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Visit the old town, castle, city museum, church, nowa huta.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Krakow in the future?

Just come to Krakow. Discover. Meet others students. Have fun. Interesting, happy, and dynamic life is waiting you here
