Why did you choose to go to Krakow, Poland?

because of Academy of music in Krakow and the profesors

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

1 semester, 300 euro a month

What is the student lifestyle like in Krakow?

it depends on personality. Krakow is full of students and young people living there, somebody prefers parties and it is possible here... I like go walking old town, coffee, beer, galleries, concerts, cinema, culture and I was satisfied in Krakow:)

Would you recommend the city and the University of Krakow to other students?

yes

What is the food like?

I like pierogy but the rest of polish food I dont like

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Krakow?

yes, you can live in old town, near to your school with students and young people and is relatively cheap

How much does it cost to live in Krakow?

I think is like everywhere.. Krakow is not a capital city, but full of tourists. maybe food in stores is cheaper, but the services and pubs, restaurants are the same like in my country (Bratislava- Slovakia)

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?

for me yes:) because is similar to slovak language, but for my friends from Spain or Italy it was difficult sometimes to say some words. Yes there were courses..

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Krakow from your city?

It was horrible...I tried many possibilities. The best one is Bratislava - Zilina by train, Zilina - Cesky Tesin by train and then walking to Cieszyn (is one city belongs to Polish and also Czek Rep.) and by bus to Krakow.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Krakow?

Kazimierz
Bunkier Sztuki
Cafe Szafe

milk bars, pierogy- pubs

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Kazimierz, and all old town
