Why did you choose to go to Krakow, Poland?

Because I wanted to practice my English, but I also wanted to go to a cheap country. Also, I had never been there before but everybody used to tell me it was beautiful and great for Erasmus (spoiler: they were right! ).

What is the student lifestyle like in Krakow?

Great! You can find something to do each and every night, not only in the weekend! It's also very easy to travel around with a lot of beautiful places to visit.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Krakow to other students?

Yes definitely! There are many good universities and the city is very well organized, public transportation is great, but you can also walk or go by bike basically everywhere.

What is the food like?

Amazing! I wasn't sure about it at first, but polish food is very tasty and rich (also vodka).

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Krakow?

No, I could easily find many options on Facebook groups.

How much does it cost to live in Krakow?

It's not very expensive, I live in a single room in a shared flat close to the city centre and I pay 1000zl + utilities, which is more or less 232 € + utilities, so let's say 250-270 € in a very good location!

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are polish courses, but basically everyone can speak a little English at least.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Krakow from your city?

Direct flight Bologna - Krakow.
