Why did you choose to go to Krakow, Poland?

Because it has a good strategic position in Europe and gives the opportunity to travel cheaply. Also, the prices are the same as in my country (Bulgaria) which made living easier.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

It's for one semester, 450 euro per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Krakow?

Dynamic, little sleep, much drinking, a lot of socializing.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Krakow to other students?

YES!

What is the food like?

Heavy, but delicious. After all, with so much alcohol the food must be strong.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Krakow?

I don't understand the question. Yes, it did cost me because I used an agency and had to pay a fee to it.

How much does it cost to live in Krakow?

Around 500 euro per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Polish language and my language are both Slavic languages so it is easy for me to understand others, but to people speaking Latin-derived languages it is almost impossible. However, there are language courses at uni.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Krakow from your city?

By plain is expensive. By bus is very cheap but long (20 hours). I came by car and the expenses were somewhere in the middle.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Krakow?

Szpitalna, Holy cow, ZetPeTe.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Krakow?

Polakowski, Bar mleczni Pod temida.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The firing dragon statue, Kazimierz, St Mary's Church @ Main square.
