Why did you choose to go to Krakow, Poland?

I went there once on holiday and just fell in love with the place.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I receive 560 euros. But it should be 360 euros for people from my country (Croatia). The additionl 200 euro are because of my parents' minimum salaries, it's like social help. and with 560e I live in studio, enjoy everything and don't have to worry about money, it is enough. if you receive 360e per month, it is still enough, but only if you lived in shared flat or dorm.

Lots of alcohol, partying, not much studying, enjoying city..

Would you recommend the city and the University of Krakow to other students?

Absolutely, to everyone.

What is the food like?

Excellent.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Krakow?

No.

How much does it cost to live in Krakow?

400e per month maybe, depends where do you live, it can be less.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, if you already know some slavic languages. otherwise, it will be hard for you. The courses are in English or in Polish.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Krakow from your city?

Train. (Zagreb-Budapest or Vienna-Krakow. )

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Krakow?

Jewish district "kazimierz".

You can't make a mistake with that one, but favorite: Podwawelem.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Warsaw, Poznan, Wroclaw.
