Why did you choose to go to Cracovia, Polonia?

Kraków was the second capital of Poland, before Warsaw. It's a nice city with a cultural past. Besides, this place is good for parties, because the whole Poland is pretty cheap. So you can party without spending a huge amount of money. Also, Krakow has amazing gastronomy, because there is a lot of Jewish dishes, which are for different tastes.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

For Krakow, it will be enough 400 euro per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Cracovia?

Kraków is the literature centre of Poland, so young people are really like to take apart in different festivals, such as literature, film and music festivals.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Cracovia to other students?

It's not my favourite city in Poland, but for me Krakow is pretty good for visiting. It has a wonderful atmosphere, which you have to discover.

What is the food like?

Food is very delicious. It's a huge variety, but it's not healthy.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Cracovia?

Yes. It was an apartment in the Jewish district, which was costs 150 euro per month.

How much does it cost to live in Cracovia?

500 euro per month will be enough.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The Polish language is not easy for foreigners because it's a Slavic language. But it's possible to learn some basic words, which will be very useful for living there.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Cracovia from your city?

I'm living in Ukraine, so the cheapest way to travel from Khmelnickyi to Krakow is by train, which is going directly to Krakow.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Cracovia?

It depends on what you like. There are a lot of small pubs, where you can pay 4-8 euro and drink whatever you want.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Cracovia?

Charlotte and Bunker are the best cafes, which I know in Krakow. In these cafes, you can always enjoy the good quality of food.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

In Krakow, you have to visit Wawel castle. It's the most visiting place in Krakow. Sometimes there are festivals and carnivals.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Cracovia in the future?

Enjoy your staying in Krakow. Explore the city and local food. You have to go to the Jewish district, which is specialised in traditional polish food.
