Why did you choose to go to Krakow, Poland?

Because I wanted to visit a different part of Europe, as normally on Erasmus people prefer to go to France, Spain, United Kingdom... I wanted to know how they live here and what are their traditions.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

It's a 5 months scholarship, and I have 350€/month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Krakow?

It's awesome, there are plenty of students and you can always find something to do at night, even during the week.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Krakow to other students?

Yes! Absolutely! Poland it's definitely underrated, but guys, come here! It's awesome!

What is the food like?

Very different from the one I'm used to, but also tasty!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Krakow?

A bit, but in the end I was able to find one that is perfect.

How much does it cost to live in Krakow?

Not so much, comparing it to the costs in Italy, where I live, Krakow is very very cheap.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are some language courses at University, and the language is a bit difficult for me, but most of the times if you speak English someone will understand you.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Krakow from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Krakow?

There are plenty of pubs that are very cheap, like BaniaLuka, House of Beer or Społem. There are also a lot of nightclubs like Dreams, Shakers, Rin...

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The main square, of course, then Wawel castle, all the city centre, the salt mines, the Shindler's factory, the underground museum (always in the main square), the whole district of Kazimierz...
