Why did you choose to go to Krakow, Poland?
I heard from a friend about the city and the university.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I was for 9 months, and I got about 250€ a month.
What is the student lifestyle like in Krakow?
Lessons are mandatory, but the exams are usually easier. They try to help foreing students, and practices are really usefull.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Krakow to other students?
Sure
What is the food like?
It´s really tasty. It usually has strong flavour, and some dishes can be quite spicy. It usually has lots of spices.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Krakow?
It took me about one week. It´s easier if you go early, but I arrived late in September and there were no lots of good offers...
How much does it cost to live in Krakow?
About 500€ a month, including house in the city centre (single room), bills, food, and party.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
There are courses, but the language is really difficult. Hopefully most of the people there speaks English quite good.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Krakow from your city?
Flying is the easiest and probably the cheaper if you get the tickets one or two months before. (Ryanair or Wizzair have good prices).
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Krakow?
