Why did you choose to go to Krakow, Poland?

It is an original destination and I wanted to stay in Europe.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I stayed there 3 months, I don't know the general scholarship... I received around 300 euros by months, it was more than enough!

What is the student lifestyle like in Krakow?

Very busy : there is a lot of things to do, many parties, many students from northern Europe, Spain or Canada.
Most of the time parties are in the city center but also in the several campus.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Krakow to other students?

YES!!

What is the food like?

Not very tasty bur very very cheap! A lot of fast food or soup (polish food), a bit fat not so tasty but very cheap : 2euros/meal

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Krakow?

No, it was a flat proposed by the university.

How much does it cost to live in Krakow?

around 300 euros a month for a normal polish people I thnik, but it can be more for a foreigner that goes out every day!

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Polish is difficult to learn, young people talk english very well. I didn't have courses but it must be possible

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Krakow from your city?

Plane : airport near Krakow

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Krakow?

So man bars in the city center, they are all goods!

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Krakow?

Wavel castel, Kazimierz,

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Krakow in the future?

go there and have fun
