Why did you choose to go to Krakow, Poland?

I choose to Krakow, because it is a really nice city with a lot of culture opportunities. There is a lot of international students from all over the world and it offers a good lessons about the history of Holocaust, Poland, Polish film.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I was there 5 months and I got for every month 400 euro. It was enough for me.

What is the student lifestyle like in Krakow?

The Erasmus in Krakow is the best way how to socializing yourself. They organize a lot of trips, cultural events, or just meeting events and so on.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Krakow to other students?

Krakow is a historical city and it is beautiful. For me it is the most beautiful city in Central Europe. The teachers in the university is kind and open minded and professional in their field.

What is the food like?

The polish food is delicious and you can find a different foreign kitchen in Krakow.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Krakow?

It was not easy, because the prices are high. So you need to be prepare, but the flats are really nice.

How much does it cost to live in Krakow?

400 euros for students, specially for me.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, there are available courses for foreigners.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Krakow from your city?

From Slovakia, which is near to Krakow is the good way by Polski bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Krakow?

To the Kazimierz, jewish district.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Krakow?

U babci maliny - polish restaurant..

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

I use only Erazmus FB group.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Krakow in the future?

Do not hesitate choose the Krakow you will not regret it.
