Why did you choose to go to Krakow, Poland?

I didn't really want to go to Krakow, I didn't have any choice. But know I am happy with it because Poland is different from I am used to and I have met a lot of nice people here.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I am going to stay here the full year (9 months). I received like 300-350 euros per month and I need 280 for the flat and 100 euros for food per month so it is perfect.

What is the student lifestyle like in Krakow?

It's really active, you always have something to do. The ESN are always doing new events on Facebook, and everyday there are parties and a lot of discounts for students.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Krakow to other students?

Of course. I would recommend it to everyone. It is really cheap and you are never bored!

What is the food like?

The food I think is the worst thing here. The flavour is really different from Spain... But I can survive.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Krakow?

Not really. I started to look for a flat like 4 months before my arrival, so I had time and I could find one in Internet.

How much does it cost to live in Krakow?

As I said before, if you know how to administrate your money, you can live with 400 € or even less per month easily.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The language is really difficult, but you will learn the basic: good morning, thank you and sorry. It is not a problem because almost everyone can speak English.

The university offers Polish courses but you have to pay a lot. It also offers English, German, French and another languages (except polish) for free.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Krakow from your city?

Ryanair, of course. And now, if you are member of ESN, you have a discount for the flights.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Krakow?

To Bania Luka and then to Lokal or Dreams... There a lot of places in Stare Miasto.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Krakow?

You should try to go to Milkbars, they are really cheap and the food is real Polish food.
