Is it difficult to find accommodation in Kiev? Is there any advice you can give?

There are many apartments for rent. Just google them. I would not recommend any hotel, as the latter is a bit more expensive when staying for more than week.

Do not rent at the city center - the prices there sometimes are too high.

But do not stay at Borshagivka or Troeshchina - these districts are dangerous in Kiev.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is heavy. Be prepared to Ukrainian traditional dish - pork lard.

Is the nightlife good in Kiev? Where is good to go?

Very good. Do not go to:

As for me, not the best places in Kiev.

Depends on the music you like. E. g., if you are a fan of club, techno or house - parties in Crystal Hall or Forsage Club are OK.

But in Forsage there are mostly students from the nearby dorms.

What advice would you give future students heading to Kiev?

Clothes are expensive. Traffic is not European - it is uncomfortable and crazy.

People are rude and grumpy.

Food is cheap and mostly healthy. Medical treatment here is cheap.

Style here is not for making you feel comfortable, but for making you look better. Education is very easy, because cheating is very widespread and nobody bats an eye on that.
